What Is BACTERIOSTATIC WATER 30ML?
Bacteriostatic water for injection, USP is a non-pyrogenic sterile water that contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol. It is used to dilute and reconstitute the formulation for subcutaneous, intravenous and intramuscular injection. Benzyl alcohol in the BAC water stops the growth of microorganisms and allows the vial to be used multiple times.
