What Is EPITHALON - 10MG?

Epithalon is a synthetic peptide composed of four amino acids alanine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid and glycine. It is derived from epithalamine, a naturally occurring peptide produced by the pineal gland. It has been shown to have antiaging properties and has been studied for its effect on telomerase activity, oxidative stress and immune modulation. It has not been approved by the FDA yet. At Pinnacle Peptides, it is not available for human consumption, Only buy Epithalon if you are an authorized researcher.

History

Epithalon was initially researched and developed in Russia by Dr. Vladimir Khavinson, a gerontologist, and his team. Their work focused on the potential role of Epithalon in slowing down the aging process and extending lifespan. Much of the research on Epithalon has been conducted in Russia and other countries in the former Soviet Union.

In various animal studies, Epithalon was reported to have a range of potential benefits, including increased lifespan, improved immune function, and protection against age-related diseases. However, it's important to note that while these findings are intriguing, the scientific community remains cautious about the widespread use of Epithalon for anti-aging purposes.

Mechanism Of EPITHALON - 10MG

Epithalon directly stimulates the cells in the body to produce telomerase enzyme. The primary function of telomerase is to help the reproduction of the telomeres, which are the protective parts located at the end of DNA. Telomeres act as protective caps, prevent DNA degradation and unravelling during cell division and maintain the integrity of genetic material.

Telomere lengths get shortened with each cell division, and eventually the cell can no longer divide. Plus, its production decreases with age, and epithalon by increasing its synthesis can slow down the aging process. Furthermore, epithalon has been shown to restore the circadian rhythm of cortisol levels and melatonin production by the pineal gland, leading to better sleep quality.

Pre-Clinical/Clinical Research

1. Cardiovascular Health

Research shows that Epitalon has the potential to improve cardiovascular health. A 12-year randomized control trial was conducted to check the effects of epithalamine (epithalon pineal gland preparation) on coronary disease in elderly patients. The results found that the peptide improved cardiac health and decreased the cardiac mortality by two-fold as compared to the control [1]. Moreover, one study showed that epithalon improved lipid profile and mean arterial pressure in female patients with hypertension and ischemic heart disease [2].

2. Cancer

Epithalon has been studied for the treatment of cancer. Studies on animal models showed that epithalon can reduce and prevent cancer development. The anticancer effect of epitalon might result from its ability to downregulate HER-2/neu expression [3]. One study conducted on mice found that epithalon reduced the size of lung metastases and decreased the development of mammary cancer in HEN/u2 subjects [4]. Furthermore, research shows that it might be useful for the prevention of breast cancer in women at high risk [5].

3. Antiaging

Various scientific studies have suggested that epitalon may have the potential to extend lifespan and postpone the aging process. For instance, one study discovered that incorporating an epitalon preparation into the nutrient medium during development could enhance the average lifespan of adult Drosophila Mongoster by approximately 11-16% [6]. Another investigation conducted on Swiss-derived SHR mice concluded that this tetrapeptide has the capacity to decelerate the age-related decline in estrous function and reduce the occurrence of chromosomal abnormalities in bone marrow [7].

One study found that epitalon decreased the production of reactive oxygen species in aged oocytes, which explains the reason for its antiaging effects [8]. Furthermore, one study confirmed its telomerase-producing activity in human somatic cells. It suggested that epithalon might have the ability to prolong the lifespan of individual cells or whole organisms [9].

4. Skin Health

Epithalon has gained the attention of cosmeceutical industry for its potential benefits in promoting skin health. One study revealed that epithalon has the potential to be used in cosmetics as it can strengthen skin and restore its structure [10]. Again, these effects can be explained on the basis of its ability to produce telomerase and decrease free radicals. Plus, it decreases the caspase-dependent apoptosis (a programmed cell death process) associated with aging [11].

Summary

Epitalon is a man-made derivative of epithalamine, a naturally occurring peptide produced by the pineal gland. It is involved in the production of telomerase enzyme which protects the telomers located at the end of chromosome. Epitalon has also been shown to have antiaging and antioxidant properties. It might be useful for prevention of breast cancer in women at high risk. It is not an FDA-approved drug, so epithalon for sale is available for research purposes only. Purchase epithalon from Pinnacle Peptides to elevate your research.
